Arts, Culture, and Digital Transformation Summit at Banff Centre
Join us for the Arts, Culture, and Digital Transformation Summit at Banff Centre, a three-day summit focused on Canadian art-making practices in a rapidly digitizing world.
Be part of a national conversation with artists, arts and culture leaders, technologists, researchers, and more.
Attend morning and afternoon sessions, presentations, and panels.
Summit dates: November 22 – 24, 2019
Day 1: The Big Horizon
We live in an era of self-driving car crashes, rigged elections, and the biggest wealth gap in history. Wasn’t technology supposed to be good? Today we’ll explore the breaking dream through the lens of big data, emerging digital identities, and the perspective of Indigenous practitioners.
Day 2: The Practical Work
The perspective of artistic practice has sometimes struggled to make it into our digital strategy discussions. Today we’ll illuminate key challenges and opportunities.
Day 3: Great (AX)pections
Digital landscapes are changing our audiences, their preferences, their patterns, and their expectations. Today we’ll discuss our relationships with and understanding of audiences.
Win two passes to experience the Arts, Culture, and Digital Transformation Summit.
Get full access to each educational session, lunch, and the keynote speakers at the summit over three days. Join us as we reimagine the place of the artist in a digital world.
Participate until October 6, 2019.
