Interac Email Money Transfer

Use online banking services of most financial institutions.

  1. Sign-on to your bank’s online banking site and select the link for “Interac Email Money Transfer”
  2. Enter Akimbo’s email address in the appropriate field (info@akimbo.ca)
  3. Enter a Security Question that only Akimbo will be able to answer (please use: What is my invoice number? For your answer use the last 6 digits of your invoice #, i.e. 020344; or if you don’t have an invoice yet, use 001234)
  4. Enter the amount to send, and select the account from which you want to withdraw
  5. The money is withdrawn from your account, and an email notification is automatically sent to Akimbo
  6. If the EMT is being sent by anyone other than yourself, please email us with your invoice # and name/name of person/organization sending the EMT.
  7. Akimbo will issue you an e-invoice within 3 weeks marked paid.
