Works by local artists In this last portion of the Parkdale Biennial Series. Artists are asked to submit 2-4 low res jpeg images, an artist statement, current CV and image list. Accepted artists will be required to pay a fee of $50 per accepted work. Accepted artists will be informed of drop off times and will receive a contract. Deadline Nov. 28, 5pm. THE SEX SHOW

Gallery 1313 is again having its annual SEX SHOW curated from online submissions. It is a group exhibition of over twenty artists works curated by Phil Anderson. The definition of sex and sexuality has and always will be open to interpretation. Each individual has his/ her own definition of what is considered sexual. What factors are recognized in the process defining something as ‘sexual’ or ‘erotic’?

Main & Process Gallery Opportunities

Gallery 1313 has rental opportunities for exhibitions for the summer and fall of 2020. We are now taking submissions for consideration. There are two separate spaces available: the Main Gallery with 1300 sq. ft. and the Process Gallery with 110 sq.ft. The gallery has 14 ft. ceilings, led lights and a courtyard entrance. The gallery will help with installation and promotion of exhibitions. The gallery takes no commission on sales. Artists are asked to submit 6-10 jpeg images, an artist statement, current CV and a written proposal. It can be mailed to Gallery 1313, 1313 Queen St. West, Toronto, Ontario, M6K 1L8 or emailed to director@g1313.org, attention Phil Anderson.
