Works by local artists In this last portion of the Parkdale Biennial Series. Artists are asked to submit 2-4 low res jpeg images, an artist statement, current CV and image list. It can be mailed to Gallery 1313, 1313 Queen St. West, Toronto, Ontario, M6K 1L8 or emailed to director@g1313.org, attention Phil Anderson. Accepted artists will be required to pay a fee of $50 per accepted work. Accepted artists will be informed of drop off times and will receive a contract. Deadline Nov. 28, 5pm. The artist is responsible for any shipping costs. The exhibition will be curated by Gallery Director, Phil Anderson

Gallery 1313 is again having its annual SEX SHOW curated from online submissions. It is a group exhibition of over twenty artists works curated by Phil Anderson. The definition of sex and sexuality has and always will be open to interpretation. Each individual has his/ her own definition of what is considered sexual. What factors are recognized in the process defining something as ‘sexual’ or ‘erotic’?

Main & Process Gallery Opportunities
Gallery 1313 has rental opportunities for exhibitions for the summer and fall of 2020. We are now taking submissions for consideration. There are two separate spaces available: the Main Gallery with 1300 sq. ft. and the Process Gallery with 110 sq.ft. The gallery has 14 ft. ceilings, led lights and a courtyard entrance. The gallery will help with installation and promotion of exhibitions. The gallery takes no commission on sales. Artists are asked to submit 6-10 jpeg images, an artist statement, current CV and a written proposal. It can be mailed to Gallery 1313, 1313 Queen St. West, Toronto, Ontario, M6K 1L8 or emailed to director@g1313.org, attention Phil Anderson.
