The Gattuso Edition, Pet rock by Vanessa Maltese, is a gift to the first 25 ticket purchasers, plus an additional 5 to be selected by lottery during the auction. Pet rock is a hand-patinated and painted bronze sculpture cast from a found stone. Bearing an uncanny resemblance to a face with two eyes and a furrowed brow, Pet rockexplores the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia, in which recognizable patterns are seen in random visual material. This project is generously supported by La Fondation Emmanuelle Gattuso. The edition is also available as a gift with supporting donations. Buy an auction ticket or inquire about our Gattuso Edition donor packages.
